The room featured a four-poster bed that provided really good comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The decor was lovely.
Accessing the room involved a method with too many numeric codes, which can be a hassle to remember. On a cold night, the heating had issues, but extra heaters were provided promptly. Still, it was uncomfortable at first. Unfortunately, a function at the bar meant we missed out on enjoying a nightcap after arrival.

The owner was super accommodating, and we enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast tailored to our needs. The historical features of the place add charm, and sitting outside with a drink was lovely. Make sure to check if you can reserve breakfast in advance.
Unfortunately, we missed enjoying the bar area since it was closed when we arrived, a bit disappointing.

charming yet needs minor improvements
Stepping into the hotel feels like traveling back in time, evoking many fond memories for me. The four-poster bed in the room provided really good comfort, allowing for a restful sleep. The expansive garden at the back has seating and a nice children's play area which is a great touch for families or those who enjoy outdoor spaces. I also appreciated the convenience of the access code for room entry, eliminating the hassle of carrying around keys.
The shower, while providing hot water, took a bit of time to heat up, which may be inconvenient in a hurry.

The hospitality provided was genuinely heartwarming, with the owner going above and beyond to. I enjoyed a wonderfully inviting atmosphere and a hearty breakfast that surely worth raving about. The shower took a bit of time to heat up, and some communication regarding dietary needs could be improved. Accessing the room felt cumbersome with multiple codes, and the limited dining options in the area left me wanting more variety.
